Jennifer Hansen went from living on the street with a $300-a-day heroin habit to becoming a role model and advocate for those struggling with substance abuse issues. Through her non-profit organization, The Hansen Foundation, she has founded halfway houses and sober living facilities for men and women alike. Jennifer is also a certified yoga instructor, and follows a holistic way of life through organic eating, chiropractic care, acupuncture, and herbal remedies. Her personal experiences taught her that recovery does not end after short-term rehabilitation, and that more resources are necessary to ensure long-term stability and growth. The Hansen Foundation was the beginning, and through Enlightened Recovery, Jennifer seeks to continue filling this void and reaching out to addicts in need.
